Nei tranquilli sobborghi di una città americana, una ragazza concitata
fugge di casa in auto pur ripetendo che tutto va bene. Poi, piangente,
telefona al papà dicendogli che vuole bene a lui e alla mamma. Il
mattino dopo viene trovata morta, spezzata in una posizione grottesca.
Un'altra ragazza, Jay, esce con Hugh, un ragazzo che le piace. Vanno al
cinema, ma ne escono precipitosamente e, per Jay, inspiegabilmente: Hugh
diventa infatti improvvisamente nervoso dopo aver visto una ragazza che
Jay non riesce a vedere. La sera successiva, dopo aver fatto l'amore
con lei in auto, Hugh cloroformizza Jay, che si risveglia legata a una
sedia in una zona solitaria. Hugh le spiega che una "cosa" la inseguirà:
qualcuno l'ha trasmessa a lui e adesso lui l'ha trasmessa a lei.
Potrebbe assomigliare a qualcuno che conosce o essere uno sconosciuto
tra la folla. Per Jay si apre un abisso d'orrore che deve affrontare con
l'aiuto dei suoi amici, ma dal quale sembra impossibile uscire.

Click vexmovies watch online it follows putlocker free now. Caught 'It Follows' at TIFF Midnight Madness and it was a real treat. Not only is it a creative take on what has become a 'by the book' teen horror genre, but there are some legitimately creepy and tense scenes. But perhaps the most interesting aspect of 'It Follows' is that it is set in a timeless time, and feels closer to a fairy tale than anything else. We find cell phones mingling with black and white TVs, and there isn't a parental figure to be found when the going gets rough. This is a particularly clever move when the 'entity' in the film is also something we know nothing about, and potentially timeless! Most importantly, so much horror, particularly modern horror, is obsessed with sex. 'It Follows' plays on this concept with much success.
